Happy Birthday Falisha

Hey guys, it's comic day but nothing I read drops so I decided to dedicate this post to my girlfriend of three years, on her 23rd birthday! So on behalf of myself, my readers, (all 6 of you guys) :P I wanna wish Falisha a Happy Birthday. Feel free to wish her one yourself in the comments or stop over at her blog, CreativeFiasco's Corner. I'm sure she appreciates it. Thanks in advance.

Also while I have you guys, A lot of you expressed interest in reading my Spec Script on The Office, I finished it over the weekend and if anyone would like to check it out they can download it at the link below. I'm taking constructive criticism. Just to set the scene it takes place in season three, Jan is still the boss, Ryan's a temp, Jim is dating Karen and so on. So, feel free to let me know what you think. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read it. I present to you.

Thanks again to everyone and once again Happy Birthday to my Wonder Woman, Falisha Ann.

  3. I never thought I'd read a post on a comic blog that actual attracts a woman to a man, but you've proven such a feat is possible. JT, we of the nerd population are all indebted to you from this day forth.

I'm liking this spec script very much. I'll look it over more carefully this weekend (so that I can say I actually "read" it), but you've captured these characters and the whole feel of the show very well. I can clearly see the things you wrote happening as described.

Also,I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but I watched your "day after Obama was elected" video on Youtube and laughed a lot. You have a humorous presence that's subtle, yet undeniable (which I think is a sign of real inborn comedic genius).

In the video I believe you mentoned something about the plate of brownies now being called "whiteys." I loved it.

  4. Lol it helps when the woman loves comics and video games as well. I know I'm a lucky dude, and I gladly embrace the support of the nerd population.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read it, and since I know watch the office I'm glad to hear what you said about me capturing the characters. It honestly means alot that you took the time to check it out so thanks again Kello.

Lol I saw you subscribed to us, I was gonna tell you thanks but It slipped my mind. Thanks again for the kind words, glad you liked it. I was scared some people would think I was somewhat racist after that lol. As you can probably tell due to me laughing a lot everything was improvised, including ther term "whiteys." I may have to make some white chocolate brownies and get it trademarked ;)

  5. Aww ^_^. Don't forget wrestling too!!! :) I don't see why more females don't get involved in some of the things the male population likes. Comics are just awesome and video games....even better. :)

  6. People are strange... but they can play games, as long as dey aren't My Little Pony or summin. That's just an embarrassment. And the Sims ain't a game either...

    Anywho, happy birthday Falisha

  8. I don't know who Falisha is and I don't care. Just wanted to tell you dude, ever since you commented on one of my articles at TJR I've been reading your blog, and I love it. I've always been a big fan of (comic book) Jason Todd, and now I'm a fan of the real one.

    Keep up the good work.

  10. I've had the time to read the first couple pages of your spec script and I think it's great...several laugh-out-loud moments (especially loved Dwight trying to pick up Kevin and Stanley!). I've watched five seasons of The Office and I agree that you've done a great job of capturing the essence of the characters from what I've seen so far. I'll let you know what I think of the whole thing when I get the chance to finish it.

  12. No problem JT, I enjoy reading your thoughts (and X's too) even if I don't always have the time to comment. Hopefully I'll have time to read the script this weekend.
