Now this was a very interesting Top Five 5! Firstly, thanks to all five of you, not counting myself, for participating. Secondly, some of these choices were shocking. Who knew that the Speed Force had so many people who wanted to put in applications?! I can't say I'm shocked that Alfred won, that was basically his category, I thought of it while seeing Alfred in a comic actually. I'm pretty shocked everyone hated Big Blue, maybe Lex got to you guys or something. Peter Parker, the most down to earth hero being picked to hang out with is pretty awesome, I'm sure he wishes he had friends like you in Highschool, it's hard for nerds... trust me. :P The big shocker for me was Tim and Jason both coming in first place, I expected the current Batman to win that category. I can't say I'm shocked Damian lost, as he rubs some of us the wrong way and he hasn't been around that long compared to the other four. But this was a great way to get a little insight into everyone's minds. As always if you have some category choices feel free to submit them, because I'm running low on creativeness. Don't forget to vote on the new poll as well, and last week's results are below. So until next time, I'm your neighborhood Blogger-Man, JT!
Last week's poll asked "Which of the following huge comic events has been your favorite so far?"
Last place with 0.0% - Brightest Day... I don't even have a bad joke for this...that's just sad...
Second Place with 27.3% - Blackest Night, Better than Brightest Day did!
Winners with 36.4% each - Tie between Shadowland and None of the above... I'm interested in what you guys would've chosen.
Fudging great picks, everyone!
ReplyDeleteAhhh!!! I Fudged up... oh well... time to bury my nose in some popcorn...
ReplyDeleteYeah, you fudged up big time JT... *shakes head*
ReplyDeleteI loved the "Damian "Insert insult here" Wayne" line. That was good!
The fact that NOBODY picked Brightest Day in last week's poll was a surprising and a bit telling... That really is sad. Oh, and I picked Kyle for this week's poll. I bet I'll be Kyle's only vote!
Fudge you X, use it on your fudging blog... :P
ReplyDeleteHaha, I saw that you and Falisha both insulted the Mini-Murderer so yeah, haha I had to add that.
Poor Brightest Day, getting no votes at all... ah well. Sucks for them. And I saw that you voted for the Street Rat (I watched Aladdin today...), I voted for Hal although Emerald Warriors was so good I almost voted for Guy.
Thinking back on last night, I've got another idea for a Top 5 category:
ReplyDeleteTop 5 People Most Likely to Claim the Title of "Craziest Comic Creator" in the Event of Alan Moore's Untimely Demise
Haha, I'm putting Grant Morrison in all five spots...
ReplyDeleteI nominate Neal Adams for that! He thinks the Earth is expanding and scientists are conspiring to keep this from us. Legendary artist, complete nutbar.
ReplyDeleteThis is a link to part of his official website.

Also, I really wanted to click Brightest Day in the poll but Blackest Night's complete and was amazing. Still loving Brightest Day though. It's a shame it came last.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I left off J.Jonah as a supporting character! I missed out on that one...
ReplyDeleteI had the hardest time thinking of characters "I used to hate." If I don't like characters (which is pretty rare), I usually never start liking them under any circumstance.
Cool post JT! And for the record, I'm voting Hal Jordan, but it's only because he feels like the one true Green Lantern to me. Everyone else is just a supporting character to him.
Once again, a day late. Lol. But I'm here. Once again a very interesting and fun Top 5. Definitely get a small insight into some of you guys personality. Lol.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the next Top 5.
Wow Paul, that dude is insane, who just randomly challenges Geologists to disprove their theories?
ReplyDeleteI still liken Brightest Day to Russian Roulette because some issues are just horrible and others are great.
Kello - Yeah, I almost forgot him when I did my picks but I loved over at my DVD shelf and saw Spidey DVD's and that reminded me of JJJ. And I kinda feel the same way about Hal because I didn't read much starring Kyle, Guy or John as opposed to Hal having so much stuff.
Falisha - That's fine lol, better late than never right? :P
